Mossflower Pictures is a motion picture studio that was founded in 1942 by brothers Lawrence & Beaufort Allistaire.
Although they never garnered commercial success beyond their local market, the brothers were passionate about telling stories of far off lands and magical characters.
The original studio closed down just a few years later after repeated negative reviews (funded by their opposition, Earl Quincy) condemned the duo as being “kitsch”, “unrealistic”, and “too busy dreaming up odd worlds instead of living in the real one.”
Today, Mossflower Pictures acts as a creative house specializing in video content meant to inspire and remind people just how magical the world can really be- if they simply open their eyes and look.
