When Luke Harvey set out to launch Mossflower Pictures, he stumbled upon historical records of a company by the same name—founded in 1872 by a man named Elroy Acton, operating out of a place called Newgrimmland.
“How could a motion picture company predate the invention of film?” Luke wondered.
Curious, but undeterred, he continued with his original plan—to craft moving, meaningful visual work for today’s musical artists.
After all, Acton has surely been dead for years... right?
